Dota Sucks.... P.S. at first....

Defense of the Ancients (commonly known as DotA) is a custom scenario for the real-time strategy video game Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and its expansion, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, based on the "Aeon of Strife" map for StarCraft. The objective of the scenario is for each team to destroy the opponents' Ancients, heavily guarded structures at opposing corners of the map. Players use powerful units known as heroes, and are assisted by allied heroes and AI-controlled fighters called "creeps". As in role-playing games, players level up their heroes and use gold to buy equipment during the mission. However to me it is like a bunch of low IQ people trying to destroy the opponent's base. WHATS FUN ABOUT THAT!!! The heros of DOTA are also just simply dumb and useless, moving around brainlessly and using such dramatic skills trying to kill the other heros. However with some "encouragements" from my friends to play this game, I started to realise how cute the DOTA character actually are and also understanding more about this most popular "free, non-supported game mod in the world". Playing the game for several weeks i realized that this game is actually not made for people with low IQs but people with high IQs. In this strategy game, one need to plan him/herself on how he/she should use the skill and when. They also need to know what item they should buy for their Hero to make sure that their ability is used to the maximum or even beyond maximum. I also found the Heros are changing from dumb and useless into super cool characters that uses really wonderful skills that allows them to achieve many different types of kill sounds for your heros. Kill sounds like Monsterkill and many many more can be achieved by killing a certain number of Heros in certain way. You can hear all the kill sounds by clicking here >>>><<<<. Personally i found this sound is one of the reasons that i change my views towards DOTA. After being able to achieve this kill sounds i felt quite fun...

For conclusion i think DOTA is a amazing strategy game with quite a good graphics. They also update their maps frequently, making the games better and BUGs free. Every now or then they add in new items and Heros to the game, making it more interesting. Anyway it is a game created by the Blizzard Entertainment so what more can you expect the game(the positive way, not negative). Also this is what I feel about DOTA after I like it...
